Jake and I are still nursing injuries that are slow to heal (forearm - Jake, wrist - me). We did get to try out Jake's new addition to the mix; a weight bench and squat rack with 300lbs of plates. Excellent. Jake and I both threw on some plates Friday night and knocked out a few reps. Me; I only got up to 225lbs. Jake; he blasted out somewhere around 340! I was humbled. ;)
I feel like it's been forever since a real heavy workout, so I'm going to try to get something accomplished tonight.
We also added a new exercise (sandbag push up's). Knock out 10 puchups with a 100lb sandbag on your back (up around the shoulders, avoid the lower back)
That's it for now...

Tires, rocks, and injuries
Well, it's been a little while since my last post and since then we have acquired new rocks and new injuries. My wrist is still tender from a bench-press injury two months ago and Jake's forearm is tweaked form lifting the 220# rock several times. One good note is that I was able to go through the entire 300# tire flip routine on Tuesday without falling out (36 flips in about 8 minutes is harder than it sounds):
8 flips - rest 60 seconds
7 flips - rest 50 seconds
6 flips - rest 40 seconds
5 flips - rest 30 seconds
4 flips - rest 20 seconds
3 flips - rest 10 seconds
2 flips - rest 5 seconds
1 flip - pass out.
(note: once complete, I did manage to rest in a fire ant pile, so I suppose the victory was bitter-sweet afterall.)
